The Couchiching Conference – Aboriginal / Canada Relations

As a member of the Board of Directors of The Couchiching Institute on Public Affairs, I look forward to the annual Couchiching Conference held, each summer, on the shore of Lake Couchiching. Each year the topic is different, decided at least a year in advance. Last year, the topic was the Arab Spring. This year, it was Aboriginal / Canada Relations.  And it was, as every Couchiching Conference is, enlightening, thought-provoking, challenging, inspiring and — as we call it, another “summer camp for the mind”.  Here are two op eds that I wrote after the Conference:  ABORIGINAL / CANADA RELATIONS — PART I and ABORIGINAL / CANADA RELATIONS — PART 2.   Please read #1 first 🙂
